Hello! I’m Ashley and I’m an illustrator and content creator living in Las Vegas! I’ve been drawing most of my life and writing skits was my favorite lunchtime past time growing up. When I reached high school I took some art classes but ultimately ended going to college and graduating with a degree in Commercial Photography. With that skill set, I landed a job in Mexico where I worked for an organization/orphanage. It was during my time there that I picked up drawing again as a way to practice self care. After 4 1/2 years there, I found myself back in the states just as 2020 started. And then quarantine hit. With quarantine giving me more free time than I ever thought I would have, I started my etsy, youtube channel and tiktok for self care and business purposes. Over this past year, I have had the chance to do freelance work, work with other local artists and have been commissioned for many projects. This time has also given me the chance to discover my own style and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
I chose the name, Ashley evolving, years ago when I had a tumblr to describe how I felt at the time. I was continuously discovering myself and it felt like being reborn over and over again. I realized that if I submitted myself to growing I would be constantly evolving which meant my art and creativity would evolve as well and thus that random tumblr url became the name behind the brand.
